Relaxing, downwind sail
Join me for a one-way flotilla sailing trip from Corfu to Athens via Peloponnese, combining skill-building, mile-building and more offshore experience in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
This trip is part of an event organised by Richard Rowe (Sailing Jollies), delivering yachts for Omega Sail Charter. I sailed this exact route and loved the balance of professionalism, safety, and great onboard vibe — which is why I decided to join as skipper and instructor, and run skill & mile builder trip.
It’s late season sailing, which means excellent value, fewer crowds, and the perfect conditions to develop confidence and real-world seamanship.
Whether you’re building miles, refreshing skills, or stepping up to longer passages, this trip offers something special.
Leg 1

A relaxed but full-on sailing week in mostly sheltered waters.

confidence & flow on board

practical drills in real conditions
We sail with the flotilla, anchoring and berthing in the same places. You can join group dinners or cook onboard — totally flexible. Routes and stops depend on weather (October can be beautifully calm… or excitingly stormy).

Depart: Kefalonia
1 November is a changeover day (no sailing).
Leg 2
1st Nov-11th Nov
Longer, more demanding, and incredibly rewarding.
Focus:

longer passages & possible night sailing

watch systems

traffic awareness (cargo ships)

weather routing & passage planning

building real offshore routine
This leg is ideal if you want serious miles and experience. We may wait out weather in ports when needed — just like real-life sailing.

Arrive: Kefalonia (Sami)
Depart: Athens area marina (confirmed near the end of the trip)
